WRITE A SHORT EMAIL TO FRIEND TELLING HIM OR HER ABOUT YOUR PLANS OF THE FUTURE.

Dear Olga,

How are you? I’m very happy.

Finally I have finished my studying so now I’m a new teacher!
These days I’m thinking about my future, about children… in general I’m thinking about all my new life.
Maybe I will go to England this year because I would like to learn more English…

Nowadays it is very important to know different languages because we live in a global world, with different cultures and different styles of life, so I think if you want to know about it you must learn languages.

By the way, my friend Daniel last week told me that in a Kindergarden they need a teacher.
He can help me because he knows the headteacher. Maybe I could speak to him and tell him about my experience with children, what do you think? Is it a good idea?

Please write soon, I miss you a lot.

TRADITIONAL METHODOLOGIES ARE STILL BETTER THAN MODERN METHODOLOGIES.

Today new education tries to include modern methodologies in the classroom.
Nowadays new methodologies and new technologies are thought to be more important than in the past because today they are necessary for this present and also for the future.

Teachers try to engage students with a new approach.
For example if you want to teach English language you can do it with a song.
Children sing a song, they feel happy and at the same time they learn new vocabulary.

But still there are teachers that prefer traditional methodologies because they think they are only way to learn.
For example teachers that try to teach only with book, without participation.
They believe that learning the lesson is necessary to pass the exam.

To conclude, I’m fascinated with modern methodologies although they are slow and maybe a little hard.
Do you think that the responsibility of Education is only for school? What happens with families and the government?

ICT IS THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION DISCUSS

Nowadays ICT are very important in our life. If you want to move in this society it is necessary to know about ICT. The world is changing quickly.

The majority of families have a computer. Computers are one of the most important tools at this moment. In all the jobs it is necessary to work with computers, for example, so you need to know about them.

For this reason children need to learn to use it as soon as possible, because in the future they will develop their abilities in this area without problems.

On the other hand, although teachers help children to use this tool, they must also show them how to develop their creativity and imagination.
For example they can ask children to use the computer for to draw with it or use the mobile phone to take a creative picture.

To conclude, I think ICT are very positive in our society. We can know more about news, we can find a lot of information, we can communicate with all the people in the world… but what about the families that don’t have a computer, for example? Can children that don’t have a computer integrate into the society?
